Junior Technical Consultant (Barcelona)
Role and Responsibilities
We’re seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Junior Technical Consultant to help our clients get more from their email marketing – bringing your technical know-how and curious mindset to solve problems, build smart solutions, and deliver great results. You’ll collaborate with our clients, provide expert advice, implement technical solutions, and ensure the successful deployment of email marketing campaigns.
Day-to-day, this looks like:

- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, understanding their business objectives and email marketing requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather project requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Implement and configure email marketing platforms, such as Adobe Campaign and Zeta to meet client requirements and optimise campaign performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to email marketing platforms, HTML/CSS coding, email deliverability, and responsive design, providing timely resolution.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance checks on email campaigns to ensure optimal functionality, compatibility, and adherence to best practices.
- Assist clients with the integration of email marketing platforms with their existing systems, such as CRM or e-commerce platforms.
- Develop and deliver client training sessions and workshops, educating them on email marketing best practices, platform usage, and optimisation techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and email marketing best practices, proactively sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
- Collaborate with the account management and sales team’s to support business development activities, including conducting product demonstrations and providing technical expertise during sales pitches.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:

- An analytical or STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) based degree.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to troubleshoot and modify code as necessary
- A confident and professional manner
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Enjoy working in a team, where you can listen, contribute ideas and share responsibility.
- Full English proficiency.
- Valid Spanish work permit
- Ability to come to our Barcelona office 2-3 times a week

This role is based in our Barcelona office, right on the beach front. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am until 5:30pm.
